Freightliner Headlight Problems?
If you are like most companies that own White Freightliners then you are very aware of the problems that these headlights are posing to the safety of your drivers, as well as the liability issues involved with accident attorneys.
At Headlights Made New we have taken this problem and the solution to it very seriously.
In an effort to save your company money we have developed a system of restoring your headlights both inside and out. White Freightliner has released a retrofit lamp socket that replaces the inferior model which only projects as low as 25% of the lights potential. This is due to gasses forming inside the light socket combined with ultraviolet sun rays destroying the external coating. With as much as 50% of night time accidents caused by poor visibility you can no longer ignore this problem.
Our process involves removing the lights, separating the lens and housing, cleaning the chrome reflectors, as well as the inside of the lens. We then replace the faulty light socket with the new Freightliner retrofit socket and remove the original coating from the outside of the lens and recoat it with our spray on epoxy resin with built in UV protector. Finally, we replace the four faulty stud retainers and reinstall the headlight. The result is a headlight that is new in appearance and performs as was originally designed.
In addition to freight fleets we service city, state and goverment fleets. Including, but not limited to, police cars, ambulances, and school buses. This process also works on Volvo headlights.
